Born in Jerusalem in 1980.
Graduated from the American School of Milan, Italy. At 1998 she returned to Israel and begun focusing on performing arts. She studied for a while in one of Israel's most known acting schools;
Nissan Nativ and took voice and guitar lessons. At that same period, she also started writing and composing her own original songs.
She began performing all over Israel on main stages with different bands.

In 2005, she recorded the album "Live by the Melody" (music), the album consists of 11 songs, all written, composed and performed by Shelly. The album was recorded with Yaniv Cohen who is responsible for the musical arrangements and all the guitars.
She is currently performing with her original material, accompanied by Yaniv Cohen (guitar) and Ayal Tzuberi (bass).

שלי שפר, ילידת ירושלים, 1980

בוגרת בית הספר האמריקאי במילנו, איטליה. בשנת 1998 חזרה שלי לישראל והחלה להתמקד באומנויות הבמה - רכשה מיומנויות במשחק והופעה על במה בניסן נתיב, עם דגש על פיתוח קול ושיעורי גיטרה. במהלך תקופה זו החלה לכתוב ולהלחין את המוזיקה שלה. במקביל החלה שלי להופיע בבמות חשובות ברחבי המדינה, בהרכבים שונים.

בשנת 2005 שלי הקליטה את אלבומה הראשון באנגלית  ,Live by the Melodyהכולל 11 שירים, כולם נכתבו והולחנו על ידה. בהכנת האלבום השתתף יניב כהן שערך את העיבודים וניגן בגיטרה. שלי הופיעה עם החומר המקורי שלה מלווה ביניב כהן – גיטרה ואייל צוברי – בס.

בשנת 2006 שלי החלה להופיע עם שירים שכתבה והלחינה בעברית. שלי מופיעה סולו, מלווה את עצמה בגיטרה ומבצעת חומר בעברית, אנגלית וגרסאות כיסוי לשירים מוכרים וטובים.
